I think you may all be sick of me and cat game review, I'm not so here we go! I feel like it's a little bit of a trend these days for games to show cats causing havoc; they really have given themselves a reputation for being mischievous. I live with one, so I get it; however, my cat isn't that naughty and does listen to me in the end.
The aim of the game is very straightforward: you play as a naughty little kitty, and you need to wind up or prank the granny and her dog. In the left-hand corner is a bar that fills up with orange the more you annoy granny, you can bring it down by running away from her and hiding, pushing her over or popping red balloons. I quite enjoy pushing over the granny, each time she looks hilarious falling over, how can one little cat have that much power?

Tasks are given to you in each room you enter, some timed, some you can take as long as you need. Push books over, throw pots across the room and collect fish to put back in the fish tank. It's a very basic and easy game to get through. To progress, you have to open doors into other rooms or outside with the star points you collect throughout the game. The issue is that it gets very boring very fast; kids would probably find it much more hilarious. As an adult, my concentration just went away. I liked the added spinning wheel that gave you some perks, such as shrinking Granny for a small amount of time. She looked so funny when I shrunk her whilst I was standing on the beams above her.

There is a lot of free roaming, which allows you to find mini-games scattered around the maps. Some mini games are annoying, others ended up feeling like you were actually a cat, such as collecting the mice and placing them in the right spot. Jumping at times was awkward; I missed the mark a lot and ended up getting myself trapped under things. I refused to turn on the auto jump feature just so I could get used to jumping on my own. Once you get over the appeal of little mini game side quests and you're going over the same repetitive tasks after around 30/40 minutes, you kind of want it to end, you feel like you've seen everything, and it doesn't give much more back. I need more of a challenge.

I did encounter glitches, mostly with the dog in the garden; he would get stuck by the pool, winding him up didn't really give me much joy because he was stuck. One upside of the game is the trophies; they're easy to get, and trophy hunters would find it to be an easy game to platinum. I wish there was more I could say about the game, it's just like the other cat simulator-based games I've played.
