Beauty Blogger Tag

Hello everyone, I hope you are all having a lovely week! Yesterday I was tagged by the lovely Hannah to do the Beauty Blogger Tag. The rules are simple you have to 1. State who the tag was created by The Beau Bow 2. Tag 5 Beauty Bloggers and 3. Title this like I have done to state what the tag is about.

1. Name a beauty routine you barely do.
I think I have said this before, moisturising my face, I do it more often then I use to now, though.

2. Is washing your makeup brushes something you do regularly?
Yes, I have to, I don't fancy getting breakouts because they aren't clean.

3. How long will you last with chipped nail varnish?
About a week, I am lazy when it comes to painting my nails most of the time.

4. How long do you put off buying/replacing a beauty or nail polish product even if you need it (ie. top coat, foundation etc.)?
I am really good when it comes to replacing, I normally order/go shopping straight away to replace what I need.

5. What is your worst beauty habit?
I bite my nails when I am upset or nervous, I really can't help it.

6. Name something non-beauty related that you put off doing all the time.
Cleaning out my wardrobe, I have only just done it and it's already a mess.

7. When going out somewhere, do you leave getting ready until the last minute or not?
No, i always make sure I am ready in time, I hate being late.

8. Can you commit to spending bans?
Yup I can, I am very well organised when it comes to not spending money and saving.
9. How organised are your makeup and nail polish collections?
I have a vanity case for makeup and an old glossybox for nail varnishes oh and a plastic tub for other beauty products so they are all hidden away tidy.
10. What is the longest time you've gone without writing a blog post?
When I first started my blog i guess it was about 8 months.

I love all my followers and people I follow but I can only choose 5 so here goes:

1. Stefi
2. Lucy
3. ReNu
  4. Hayley
  5. Louise

Be sure to follow Hannah who tagged me and the lovely girls I have tagged too! Have a great week everyone.

A few products from box swap #2

✿ ✿

I felt it was about time that i did this blog because i have been a very lazy blogger lately, so sorry about that everyone. Also i have had two new Liebster awards from Maddy and Becky and as most of you know i have already got 7 of these (at least i think i have) so i just want to thank these lovely ladies for nominating me again! Now back to my blog, i wanted to just discuss a few of the things Lucy sent me in a box swap and why i like them, so here goes.

✿ ✿

✿ ✿

1. MUA intense colour eyeliner- jet black: I love this eyeliner it goes on well and stays on through out the whole day, even with my hayfever it stays on which is a big bonus for  me! It always smudges when i want it to smudge and has a built in pencil sharpener. I think it's a good buy for the price of £1!

2. Rimmel London Apocalips shade Apocaliptic: I have heard everyone raving about this and Lucy decided to send me one as she didn't want it so told me to give it a go. I actually really like the colour but it is a very bold shade so i try and leave the rest of my face when i wear this shade because it stands out so much. My sister always told me that i should either have my eyes stand out or my lips, because too much doesn't look right on me and i agree with her.

3. NYC expert last lip colour shade purple crush: I never use to think purple tones suited me until i sat down and tried them out, i have all different kids of make up in different tones of purple now because i have fallen in love with the shade, i knew straight away this colour would suit me perfectly and it's one of the colours i wear regularly right now. It also lasts for hours which i love seeing as i can't be bothered to reapply lipstick all the time and it's only £1.99.

4/5/6/7. Elf Brightening Colour Nymph dreams: i love this tiny little pallet from ELF the colours are so cute and subtle, they brighten up my eyes wonderfully and don't look too dark. The down side is that they don't stay on that long even if i apply primer but at £1.50 what do you expect! My favourite shade from the whole pallet is the yellow/gold colour, it makes my eyes look much more awake.

Animal Crossing New Leaf & red hair.

✿ ✿

I am soooo sooo happy to finally have the game Animal Crossing New Leaf on 3DS ( the 3DS is not mine it's Chris's) i finally found it in stock in Game where i live and i was jumping for joy because i have been waiting for it to come out just so i could play it. It is such a cute game, i'm not very creative so i called my character Elle but named my town Elchi which is a safari park i went to in Spain and i loved it anyways the game was £34.99 in Game but £29.99 in other places but it's worth the price you pay. I have only had it a day and have put a down payment on a house in the game, i am also Mayor of the town which makes me feel awesome! In one of the picture i took i had got stung by bees on purpose because i went around shaking all the trees and i just find the face of my character hilarious when she is stung, i'm terrible i know!

✿ ✿

✿ ✿

Besides being a sado and playing that game i decided that it was time to get rid of the green in my hair once and for all, so now it is completely red all over which i am rather happy with and i only had to leave it on for 10 minutes instead of the full 30.

Happy Birthday Gizzy!!

✿ ✿

Today Gizzy is 2 years of age, it's been a crazy time with this little kitty but she has been the best kitty ever. She comes and snuggles with me when i cry and she has the funniest faces ever and is such an energetic fluff ball. She is Penni's best friend even though they pretend to hate each other, it's so weird i feel like i have had Gizzy forever! For her birthday i went to pets at home and got some boinks which she loves and i got her a scratch mouse that can hang up, but i cut the strings to the hanging bit because Gizzy would end up hurting herself.

May favourites

I have very sensitive skin so when i do try products i always try samples or just use the travel size products. My main problem i have is bad break outs, dry lips and rough knees, feet and elbows. I am forever trying out new things that will work for me but i either find out they contain nuts or make me have a rash, this is why when i find a product that does work i am loyal to it , but as of lately i have been trying out different things for my dry skin.

✿ ✿

one product i have been using for my dry skin lately is Garnier body lotion intensive 7 days. I have two different kinds the first one i got is the lotion for dry/rough skin (cocoa butter amazing to help fade stretch marks), i found this one worked better on my feet then anything and the second one is the lotion for dry to extra dry skin (Shea butter), i use this one all over my body. I have a smaller size for the cocoa butter lotion but a bigger size for the Shea butter lotion, they both are pretty good at hydrating your skin and they absorb fast, you don't need to squeeze out loads because a little goes a long way. The smaller size (250ml) costs about £1.99 from superdrugs but the bigger size (400ml) cost £3, so i guess buying the bigger bottle makes more sense it's not much more then a smaller bottle. I know i have mentioned this product before on my blog but as you can tell i love it!

✿ ✿

Another product on my love list is Maybelline Babylips antioxidant berry, it has a nice sweet small to it, It also has SPF 20 for sun protection which is very important to me! I would say it makes my lips feel softer and they aren't so dry anymore. It does claim to have 8 hour moisture on lips but that's not so true mine lasted about 2 hours. I got this product in my beauty box swap with Renu and it has to be one of my favourite products out of the lot.

✿ ✿

For mothers day i got my mum the No7 perfect pedicure foot soothing system, it comes with batteries and 4 different attachments each too buff and smooth your feet, i actually got a really good deal with this at boots, it normally sells for £24.99 and i got it for £12.49. I think they are still doing the deal so if you want one get one whilst they are still cheapish. I would say if you want fast results this isn't really a product for that, after about 5 times my feet were much more smoother, if your skin is very very hard this product isn't going to work for you, no matter how much pressure you put on it. I understand this has a bad rating on boots i think it got given 1 star out of 5, but the main problem is it's not a miracle worker girls, it's a nice treat for your feet.

✿ ✿

Ok lastly i have been using the Clearasil perfectawash which came with only one refill (i know some come with two) The one i have been using is the superfruit extracts & vitamin E, Now i am not going to say this happens to everyone because i don't know but personally for me within 24 hours of using this face wash my spots were less red, they were smaller and my skin was so soft. I use this product when i wake up and before i go to bed it's made me feel happier about my skin and it doesn't irritate it which is a big bonus for me. Seeing as the refills are only £2 on boots i am going to try out the soothing plant extracts & vitamin E face wash to see if it's just as good. I do reccomend you try this for yourself but i don't think you should pay full price of £12.99 either buy it from boots for £4 or fragrance direct for £4.99. On the box it says 1 refill gives you a 6 weeks supply or your money back guarantee, so let's see how true that is!

Box swap #2 from Lucy

This box swap is my second and it's with a lovely girl called Lucy, i have been speaking to her for a while now and have a lovely online friend ship with her. She has been a busy girl recently so she hasn't been able to post blogs lately so i am really looking forward to her new ones when she has free time. I was so happy to receive my box this morning, it was full of some lovely things and i am so very grateful for them!! Headband making.

A lot of people i know love floral headbands, but the biggest problem is finding money to buy the ones that are more popular and expensive, so me and my sister Stefi have decided to have a go at making our own headbands. I thought i would do this post to just see what some of you think about that flowers we have chosen, we can get other colours if you request them and would love to know what kind of pricing range you think we should go for when we sell them. So far we have 10 headbands, i am not sure how many we will sell and and how many we will give away, we aren't doing this to copy in anyway these floral headbands will be done in our own style.

✿ ✿

As you can see i have a bag full of fake flowers for these headbands, hopefully people like them, i can't wait to start mine and my sisters new hobby!
