Real technique brushes

This will only be a short post because i am at Tom's and i was excited to all tell you about what i purchased  yesterday, I finally have some real technique brushes (I know I'm way behind) the fact that they were expensive put me off a lot but from all the reviews I have seen I really wanted some. At boots it was buy one get one half price so I purchased the core collection brushes and a stipple brush at the same time. I've actually been asking Tom if he knows what each one is for and he said either blusher and eyeshadow, bless his cotton socks! I decided I would explain to him what they are used for so now he is all clued up on the brushes I have, bless his cotton socks! I love that the core collection has come with a case that I can stand up and it has room to put other brushes that I use too, that's such a good selling point for me.

The reason I wanted new brushes was because mine were basically shedding and dead so I thought I would treat myself, I managed to get the stippling brush for £5.99 because boots had a buy one get one half price offer on. I used the brushes this morning and I can notice a big difference in my make up from using my old brushes to my make up now, this is a good difference because my skin looked flawless and less cakey to how it would look before. I'm actually really glad I purchased them yesterday because I'm off out tonight for New Years Eve with Tom and my make up actually looks great for once and I feel confident with how it looks. I hope you all have a wonderful night and don't get too drunk so you can remember it in the morning (unless you would rather not remember it), I'm off now but don't worry I will be blogging in 2014!

My Christmas gifts.

I had a wonderful Christmas I spent it with my family and some of it with tom, then stayed at toms yesterday and had a lovely time with his family. I'm currently blogging from Tom's PC which feels strange because I'm so use to using my laptop/phone/Ipad, but he has better internet connection at his house. I got so many wonderful presents which I wasn't expecting, people are too kind! I actually got a few things from my Christmas wish list which I'm ever so pleased about. You all know two of the presents tom got me (a ring and a necklace) he also got me some my little pony comics, a hello kitty Ipad case and Chloè perfume.

My lovely friend Catherine got me lots of sweets, a hello kitty DVD /mug set, a zombie poster and kitty socks!!! My sweetheart of a friend Elle sent me a cat jumper and some kitty treats, I have to sort out her present to send because I'm a lazy moo! Toms family members got me kitty earmuffs, soap and glory gift set, a cat mug, a cute purse and jellybeans with a jelly bean bowl. My family got me some gifts which I've wanted a while one of them being Lauren Conrad's book beauty, I was so excited to receive it, I also got now that's what I call Disney princess, Disney Pixars brave, Les Misérables soundtrack, fashion the ultimate book of costume and style, genius speaker for my iPhone and the 9 stack shimmer kit by Bellápierre cosmetics (which i will be reviewing sometime soon).

I've tried to mention everything I got but it's hard to remember, I have hardly any room in my bedroom as it is for all this stuff, i've also brought a few things in the Boxing Day sales which are presents to myself!  I've eaten far too much food over Christmas so I probably should have a detox or stop eating so much, oh yes I forgot to mention I've no longer got pink or purple hair, my hair is back to ginger so I'm going to try and embrace my natural colour. I hope you have all had a lovely Christmas and I hope your new year is a good one, thank you to all my followers for continuing to follow and read my blog, I love you all!!

Mine and Toms Christmas trees :3

Argan oil.

For a while now I have wanted to try out Argan oil because I have heard such good things about it, I had been putting off for a while because it is expensive and I wanted to try it when I could get it cheaper to see how well it worked for me. I was walking around Buyolgy in Par and came across some Argan oil leave in oil for when hair is wet, as soon as I saw the price (£1.79) I had to get some and give it a go. I've been using it over a week now and I've noticed such a difference in the condition of my hair, it's shiny, less fizzy and doesn't looked as damaged as it normally it does.

After using the leave in oil I really wanted to try the conditioner so when I saw it for £1 along with Argan oil hair mask I immediately purchased them. First I tried the hair mask which did make my pink hair fade a bit but left it soft and I had beautiful wavy curls. Then the next time I washed my hair I mixed my directions dye with my argan oil conditioner which left it feeling and looking the same as the mask, my only problem is of I use the conditioner and then the leave in oil after washing off the conditioner (the conditioner is quiet thick as is the mask) my hair will get too greasy so now I don't have to use so much leave in oil as I did when I first used it. Once i have put the oil in my damp/wet hair i like to brush it through with my tangle teezer I find it easier then a normal hair brush.

I really recommend Argan oil for those who dye/bleach their hair or those who have curly hair like me, it doesn't smell bad either in fact my boyfriend loves the smell of it! I always tell people to get a sample of a product before buying the full size because it may not work for you and you would of wasted money on that product, but those of you in the UK who would like to try Argan oil and don't want to pay out £12+ get down to Asda and try the conditioner and mask for £1 each, i'm not sure where else will do the actual leave in oil cheap like i got mine unless you have a Buyolgy near you.

Pets at home cat gift ideas.

I am a huge cat freak, I am putting my hands up and admitting it because I have a crazy obsession with them. Not only do I love to treat my cats but i am also obsessed with buying cat clothes and accessories. So every year for Christmas i get the kitties Christmas presents because I can't for the life of me leave out these little fluff bums, they are family and deserve to be treated. I actually got Gizzy 2 years ago in October, she was meant to be a Christmas gift from an ex but we obviously broke up so I brought her myself, she has to be the best present I ever received and has changed my life since the day I got her, I can rely on her and she never left my side when I was severely sick from being pregnant last year, whenever I cry she comes and sits with me to make sure she is ok. These are one of many reasons I consider her a family member and why she deserves presents too! Last year I spoiled the cats with treats from Pets At Home and this year I will be doing the same, I have put together a little collage of treats and presents that my cats personally like and others cats may like too, check them out:

Cats love treats but sometimes too many will turn your cats into fatties, which has happened with Gizzy she is greedy and her eyes are bigger then her belly, what we do is give our cats these whiskers treats in the flavours chicken and cheese and salmon flavour, they go mental for them! They also get stick treats but these ones are Gizzys favourite.

These are activity toys, they are great for keeping kittens/cats running around and wearing them out and they keep them entertained for hours, Gizzy and Penni have the blue one called the cheese chase and love sticking their paws into the holes to make the balls roll around the circle, they are one of the best toys we have got the cats.

Toys attached to a string is always a toy that cats will love, cats love to jump and catch things so that's why these toys are so practical for cats. My cats love the ones with feathers on, they like to lick them to death it's a tad weird but what ever floats their boat!

Scratch pads are just as important as scratch posts, the cats have their posts put in a certain place so we decided it would a good idea to get some sort of scratch pads/toys and put them in other areas of the house for the cats too use that's why i got the giant scratch mouse above, Penni beats it up but the cats still use it.

When Penni was a kitten my mum got this fresh mint breath toy for her and she has had it ever since, she loves biting it and sliding it around the house the same with crinkle balls, we use to scrunch up tinfoil into balls and let the cats chase them until we found out Pets at Home did the scrunchy balls which the cats play with for hours (they can be a bit noisy but at least it wears them out).

So if you are clueless what to get your cat pop just have a browse in Pets at Home there is plenty of choice!

My Christmas wishlist.

I'm not that into Christmas anymore, when I was younger, I loved it, it was such a magical time and we would go see my Nan and Granddad on Christmas day. But now I'm older I just want the food! I love Christmas food, my mum cooks the best Christmas dinner and gets so many yummy sweets (I'm terrible when it comes to sweeties!). This year is going to be the same as every year, not that I'm complaining, I just wish my sister Stefi was in Cornwall to celebrate it with us, It's a shame she can't but she is always at the end of a phone and I can Skype to her! This year there is only one main thing that I REALLY want that is expensive, which is the BaByliss Curl Secret, I know I already have curly hair but sometimes my curls look dreadful and the curl secret would make them look much better, I will list what other things I have on my Christmas list below.

1. BaByliss curl secret // 2. Harvest Moon 3DS

3. Pandora tiara ring // 4. Now that's what I call Disney Princes.

5. Hello Kitty Ipad case // 6. Alpaca Mirror.
7. Brave on Blu Ray // 8. My little Pony from build a bear factory.
9. Lauren Conrad Beauty // 10. Lauren Conrad Style

It wouldn't bother me if I didn't get any of these things... but would be nice if I did get them! I already know I am getting Now that's what I call Disney Princess and Brave!!

My cardiac appointment.

Yesterday was the day I finally got to see my consultant after a year of waiting for an appointment, the last time I went I was pregnant so a lot has changed with my body since then. I had a list of things I wanted to talk to my consultant about, one of which is the coming and going of numbness and pins and needles in my left arm. It's a big concern for me because It effects my everyday life just like my NCS does. The other thing I needed to discuss was how much more ill I am feeling since losing my baby, it seems that since I'm no longer pregnant my condition has got a lot worse.

I went into the reception area and booked myself in, I was called a few minutes later to have my weight and BP checked, they always check my BP when I'm sat down knowing it's so much lower when I'm standing which is annoying. Then I had my ECG, the woman was so kind to me and made me feel very comfortable even though I was laying there topless with my boobies out (I hate it) the machine actually worked first time, normally it takes ages for it to work for me, I guess I was very relaxed! After I was done with that I went and got dressed and the woman told me the consultant was running 35 minutes late... An hour later I was finally seen, but not by my normal consultant, it was some young guy who didn't really know what my problem was until he looked into my file. I asked him where my consultant was he said they split the clinic, he then told me that it's like of the pot which consultant I want to see next time (not pleased at all!!) I did tell him I needed to talk to my normal consultant as he knows everything that's been going on, he told me next time (3/6 months time) I can see him, then asked if I had a tilt table test before and suggested towards the idea of having another, now people know how much I hate the tilt table test it's actual hell having to be strapped down then out upright to make me pass out, I told him no my notes say I have had one and I for want another. He then said he is going to write me a proscription out for fludrocortisone which will be sent through to my GP and sent me in my way.

I was in no way happy about this appointment, I felt upset and wanted to cry. Feeling let down by my own consultant makes me feel uncomfortable about going to see him, I know people may think I am being silly but I really did need to talk to him. At least when I see my GP I can discuss how I feel about it all and he will understand. Has anyone else had a similar thing happen to them and felt upset like I am about it?

On Friday night I stayed over Toms, we went out for a meal then back to his and watched Rock of ages. I was a bit of a moody cow with him, thank god he can put up with my mood swings! When I woke up in the morning I wasn't feeling too good, my NCS had a big part to play in that! Tom informed me I had been sleep walking that night and told him to put the kids to bed and to wash the dead bug off the window (I don't even know how to explain any of that except I must of been stressed). Any ways because I wasn't feeling too good, tom was a lovely gentleman and sat in the bathroom whilst I bathed because I felt faint and didn't fancy drowning, he is a sweetheart. Later that day on Saturday he decided to take us for a drive somewhere and ended up taking me to Lanhydrock, the prices there are high but for £26 for the year tom got me and him a joint membership for all the national trust parks around the UK. Once we filled out the paper work for all that we walked down to Lanhydrock house, I instantly fell in love with it, it's so big and beautiful! Unfortunately as we was walking around I started to get dizzy and when we got to the car I felt like I was about to pass out, tom handed me a drink and left all the windows open in the car so I started to feel a little bit better.

Next time me and Tom go, we have decided to have our own little picnic and take the polaroid camera with us. Tom being a little sweetheart saw the cutest Pjz in Asda (kitty ones) and got me them, they are the softest ones I have ever worn and look unbelievably adorable! I made him put them on and tried to take his picture but he wouldn't let me get a good one. I got him a cute little bobble hat and myself a cat jumper and a new skirt (all from Asda). I can't wait to see Tom again on Tuesday, he knows how to make me smile!

Lovely days.

I went out with my parents the other day so I could check if Boots had Bleach London dye stocked yet, unfortunately for me they didn't so instead I decided to go Wilkinson and Tkmax. My mum is such a bad influence on me, I try not to buy stuff and she points out cute dresses to me and I cant help but buy them. When I was in town I wasn't impressed with the amount of nasty looks and remarks about my pink hair, people can be very narrow minded sometimes just because I have bright pink hair, they should grow up and keep their remarks to themselves. But I still had a nice shopping trip with my parents, we was only out for an hour, I would of gone with Tom but he was at work.I really needed a new umbrella so when I was in Tkmaxx I spotted a really cute Hello Kitty one that I had to buy in Wilkinsons, it did cost me £6 though, I also saw they was doing bath bombs and got two different ones for Tom to try. After I went to Wilkinsons me and my mum popped into Tkmaxx and she managed to make me buy her a cute pink wool jumper, I got myself two pretty skater dresses, I love the design on them both and they are very snug.

When I went out for a meal on Friday I wore the blue dress from Tkmaxx, it looks very cute with my velvet jacket from Lashes of London. Over the weekend I was with Tom, I had the most amazing time, we sat and watched movies and ate junk food (naughty us) then on Sunday he took me too Newquay and got me a hello kitty Vans backpack, I am literally so thankful he got me it, he is the sweetest cutest guy ever, he also got me a cute owl iphone case which is perfect for me because I am always dropping my phone.
