When it comes to gaming keyboards I know that it matters what keys and features it comes with, at first glance the *Logitech G413 Carbon Mechanical Gaming Keyboard looks like a normal office keyboard but it is a lot more than that, which was clear when we started to use it, I was sent this keyboard to try out and review to tell you all my thoughts on it. I personally don't tend to play PC games that much but my partner plays them a lot more than me and having a comfortable keyboard to use whilst gaming is one of the most important things he would look for in a gaming keyboard. When the package arrived I found it easy to open and very secure within the packaging, they keyboard was wrapped in a plastic wrap and was separate to a long box inside the box which has 12 sealed extra keys for the keyboard, they are for upgrading the keys you mainly use to game with and are a lot more comfortable for your fingers to press down on when in game mode, to make the keys easier to change they can be changed with the key puller which came with the extra keys and keyboard. The *Logitech G413 Carbon Mechanical Gaming Keyboard is available from Maplins for £99.99. (The keyboard has been tested on both PC and iMac).

Features:

  • Anti Ghosting
  • Backlit
  • Built-in media function
  • Switchable gaming keys
  • Romer G mechanical key switches
  • USB connection
  • 12 extra keys

Batch 17 | Coming Soon to Steam!

Are you a PC gamer looking for a new game to try out? Why not give Batch 17 a play. The beta release has come and gone but don't disappear it will be released soon, I'm not a huge fan of PvP but what I can say it comes with both a story campaign and multiplayer and I really would like to give the story a go. Batch 17 is about an unnamed cloned soldier who wakes to see a fight against the organization who runs the mining colony that the solider is meant to protect. The soldier was born without the ability to speak but has memories of their previous life. The quest the solider takes on leads them to the resistance who are the ones fighting back against the organization, they end up coming across a shadowy leader who had a big interest in them and has to fight their way through a variety of levels and environments to find out who they really are and what the significance of the 17th batch of clones is (that's where it gets the name Batch 17).

Blue Light and Gaming.

As a gamer, Blogger and an avid TV watcher, I spend a lot of time in front of a screen, whether it's a tv screen or a monitor both tend to give me headaches. I try and make sure I have a set amount of time when I play games or sitting in front of a TV in order to help my headaches but sometimes that just isn't enough to help your and often the cause of these headaches for me will be because of eyestrain from looking at blue light. What is blue light? Well it's a colour that is part of the visible light spectrum seen by the human eye but can be dangerous so to put this into prespective light is made up of these things callled electromagnetic particles which travel in waves, these are waves are what emit energy and each have a range of strength and length, the shorter one of these wavelengths are the higher in energy, blue light has a short wave length which means that produces a higher amount of energy and the more exposore you have to blue light the more at risk you are to damage to your eyes.

2018 | Valentines Gift Guide

I have a very mixed Valentine gift guide, it can be for any gender because let's face it people shouldn't have to have separate gift guide for either gender not when more and more people enjoy things that are meant to be for a certain gender so let's smash those stereotypes and enjoy whatever the hell you want. Valentine's day is a huge gimmick I know but that doesn't mean people shouldn't be allowed to enjoy spoiling one another. I for one don't celebrate it but my anniversary is the day after and I do celebrate that. This gift guide is based on my own ideas, you don't have to follow it but if I inspire you with any of these gifts please let me know! *Some products were sent to me for free, all opinions are my own for more info please check out my contact & disclaimer.

These have been following me for a fair few months on twitter now and that's how I discovered them, they are a photo printing company who I have been lucky to work with on this post, *Printiki is a mixture of two things one being print and the other word "iki" has a Japanese origin which basically is an expression of simplicity, sophistication, spontaneity, and originality. I love how unique and well thought out the company name is, I feel like it gives it a lovely edge which makes it a lot more appealing to me. They have a variety of different photograph styles you can choose from and sizes and even give inspiration on how you can show your prints off in your own home.

One of the Biggest Dangers with Streaming Video Games.

The world of gaming can be a great one, it can open up doors for people and help others in ways you wouldn't think was possible. I personally watch streams and I enjoy them a lot whether the person chooses to interact with their audience or not the gameplay within a stream is what matters most to me as a viewer, there is a lot of pressure on streamers to interact and take on board what their audience wants but at times people can troll and take things too far with advice especially when someone has chosen not to speak or appear in a stream, they get a lot of hate for it. Some people online push the limits they go too far and forget these streamers are human too and what you do can affect them in many different ways. I have been trolled badly on Twitch before I have mentioned this a while back and it's why I left Twitch then decided I would make a new one a few years ago now. I know you're probably thinking this is such a negative post but I feel it needs to be addressed and is something people are going to far with when it comes to streaming, push aside the trolls who just name call and try and get people to spam other streamers chats and let's discuss the new trend of getting streamers swatted.

Life is Strange: Before The Storm | Episode 3 | Hell is Empty.

*SPOILERS*
Publisher: Square Enix
Developer: Deck Nine
Sequel to Life is Strange
PS4 Review

It's finally here, the last installation of Life is Strange Before the Storm (not including Max's episode) I'm so sad about it as I have gone on a journey with Chloe all over again. I'm very grateful the creators decided to make these 3 episodes to show us how things got so bad within the first life is strange with max, for me even though these episodes didn't focus around Max it still felt like a worthwhile game. I have come to understand and want to reach out to Chloe with all that she has gone through, yes she was rebellious but she was a very misunderstood young lady whose life was rocked with so much pain and loss. Before I could play the game there was a 1.9 GB update which I probably should have done whilst my PS4 was in rest mode because it took an age to download, once it was downloaded I had a lot of issues trying to play episode 3, apparently, there were 2 updates but the second one wasn't working. in the end, I looked on twitter for some advice and people said to search for episode 3 and go to the top option, turns out episode 3 was disguised as episode 1 and we needed to go to the option to download the second update. If you don't want to know what happens in the last episode I suggest you stop reading now as I'm going to go in on what happened from this point, you were warned! At the end of episode 2 we learn that Rachel's mum is someone else, she is a junkie and it pretty much cut off there but episode 3 continues on to tell the story of who Rachels mum is and why she no longer is part of Rachels life. She reacted pretty badly to hear that her mum cared more for drugs than she did for her own daughter, anyone would, to be honest, it's such a big blow and how does someone only just experiencing adult life process information like that? Even though Chloe has known Rachel a short while she took on the role as her best friend to try and help her through her sorrow and we see the side to Chloe that is willing to put her feelings aside and whatever she is going through to help someone else.
