Hidden Around the World is a cute and fun hidden object game bound to get your eyes moving; it did for me, that's for sure. It is a successor of the game Hidden in My Paradise, which I actually haven't played, but know of, and it looks equally as cute. I've spent a relaxing amount of time just zooming in and out of my screen to collect the matching objects, animals and matching snapshots using what you find in different worlds. It's one of those things that will make you wonder if you are ever going to find what you are looking for. I was terrible at Where's Wally, and I'm equally terrible at this. It takes me a while to find anything.
Players travel around different locations with two companions, Laly and her faerie friend Coronya, both equally as cute as each other. You can't move on to the next world until you have enough paw points, which are earned by completing matching tasks and finding chests and fairies within the worlds. It's very straightforward but also overwhelming with how cluttered the worlds look. I myself struggle with being surrounded by clutter; it certainly was a task for me to get through. The great thing about it is you can move everything and anything you want to put in a neater order and create your very own worlds the way YOU want.

One main thing I have struggled with is finding fairies. I am more than certain that the game is bugged. I could easily find the chests, but for the life of me, I didn't see or find a single fairy. At first, I thought I was being silly, but I ripped the world apart to find these fairies and gave up after 30 minutes. I'm hoping this issue can be fixed; otherwise, the worlds are basically left incomplete, and that's going to annoy me. I liked the added element of adding day, night and an evening mode, you can set it to suit whatever mood you're in, which all cosy games need to do in my opinion, it also is a good way to help you find different items that you may not be able to see during the day.
Some may get a little obsessive about clicking on every single thing in the game. I started doing this and quickly worked out that clicking on the animals gave me more coins, so make sure you do that! You can also get a helping hand with the location of items, which works well with the items. When doing it for items for snapshots, it seems a tiny bit buggy and doesn't actually take me to their location, which was frustrating because sometimes I just can't see what I'm looking for.

In order to build your own worlds in sandbox mode, you need objects. To get these, you will have to play through the levels and use your coins to buy tickets for the gumball machine. Luckily, they aren't too expensive, and you can go as many times. I wasn't too bothered about doing this, as making my own levels wasn't that appealing to me; however, I know this is a wonderful addition for those with a creative mind.
Overall, I did enjoy the game; it does need work to help iron out the bugs, but for a cosy game where you can happily waste some time, it certainly will keep players busy.
