a selection of all the games

I know I don't usually do posts with games for all the family to play together, so here is one that they may like. I'm actually not too sure, as I personally felt it was lacking. Party games can make for a great fun family time or a get-together with friends. Running Fable Petite Party looks bright and fun on the outside, and each of the game selections looks like it could be a fun challenge. This is where I was wrong. You could say I'm saying this because I played against bots and even gave the game a try on my own, but this is far from the truth.

I wanted to be challenged, I needed a game like this to be hard and draw me in so that I wanted to win. Unfortunately, it was far too easy. Sure, younger kids will have a whale of a time playing, as it will be so simple for them to win. This is why it's definitely not a game for us adults, as it requires no actual skill. However, I really liked the choice in characters you could choose from, skipping through different ones, it will change the animal and give you some cute and quirky outfits for them to wear, you can change this each time you start a new game.

As I said before, I played the game alone; I would have played with my partner if we had the time. The option of playing with bots is handy if you don't have enough players to fill the 4 slots; at least you can add a bot to join in.
This game comes with two game modes: a board game mode, which can only be accessed with other players and a mini game mode, which you can play with bots if you have no one else to play with. Personally, this game feels better suited as just an online mobile game to play with others, more than a console game. From what I know, Running Fable Petite Party is a spin-off of the game Running Fable, which is a multiplayer game with up to 10 players where you can race. This spin-off is just a mini game for fewer players to experience; it definitely doesn't live up to the original game, from what I have seen.

Sling Fling game

It's not all bad, though. There are some games I enjoyed; they were a little clunky at times, yet I was able to play and get a lot of points within the time limit given. For example, Flag Rally allows players to control their board and collect flags matching their colour, but watch out, a whirlpool will stop or progress, or a player crashing into you will bring you to a halt. A really easy one to win was called Sling Fling, just hit the rabbits and avoid the bombs, you will be racking up those points in no time, and if you are playing against bots, make sure you set it to easy, medium or hard. Either way, I personally found them all easy.

Even though it wasn't the best game, I would happily play this with my niece; she would probably get a lot of satisfaction from the cute, goofy animals and their outfits, the soundtrack and the bright colours. For around £11, it will serve as something to keep the kids busy for a little while at least.
